Lynda Wills

Lynda with husband Derek and 3 daughters moved to Southampton in 1981.

A fabric artist, Lynda was intrigued with the way colour and design was applied to different materials. A gift of French dyes changed everything. The mystery of what to do with the box of dyes was solved when silk artist Katerina Rondos moved to Southampton. She opened a small shop and taught several classes. The beauty of colour on different weights of pure silk has become an unending fascination.

Interested in the use of water colour techniques, Lynda enrolled in classes with well known artists Linda Bester and Christa Eggers to help broaden her skills.

Lynda's work is currently displayed in the Owen Sound Artists' Co-operative, Southampton Art School and Gallery Cottage Artistry, Tiverton and the Golden Gallery, Tobermory.

She is the current president of the Shoreline Artists and participates in the June Studio Tour and the August Shoreline Artist's Exhibition and sale in Sauble Beach.
