Morag Budgeon

Morag Budgeon graduated from Georgian College Jewellery and Metalworks Program in Barrie in 1994. While attending she won numerous awards and honors. After graduation she took on two momentous tasks. One, starting a studio jewellery business and two starting a family! Many years later she has a succesful business and three beautiful children.

Morag creates her jewellery from start to finish. The designs are all her own and she fabricates each piece in her home based studio in Owen Sound. Using sterling silver with accents of 14K yellow gold and copper, her work is identifiable as her own. Between attending crafts shows around Ontario, providing jewellery for the Owen Sound Artist's Co-op and other galleries, teaching electives, working on commissions and having supper on the table at 5:30, Morag has achieved a full and rewarding life and career in Owen Sound.
