The Owen Sound Artists' Co-operative (OSAC) respects the privacy of visitors to our web site. As artists and craftspeople, we make a daily commitment to integrity and excellence. This is a foundation for our work, the way we run our store, and to the expectations you may have about maintaining your privacy when it comes to use of any "personally identifiable information" you may provide.

Personally identifiable information is collected by us when you send us an email, mail us a letter, phone or fax. It is important for you to understand that no personally identifiable information is captured or retained unless you directly volunteer it.

Non-identifiable information is also collected. When you access our web site, our server passively and automatically logs the Internet Protocol address used by your Internet Service Provider to access the internet. A general record of the pages requested on our site, the total number of visits per day, and the hourly average traffic on our site is also logged.

Our web site does not set or retrieve browser "Cookies".

The fundamental use of the information we collect is to respond to, and fulfill your needs as a web site visitor, registrant or customer. In other words, the information is necessary and is used to transact the business you wish to conduct via our site, to fulfill your desire to enter a contest, to resolve the customer service matter or other inquiry you have brought to our attention.
